Nestlé invests CHF 157m into Thai pet food manufacturing
Nestlé is investing more than CHF 157 million to expand its Purina pet food manufacturing in Thailand.
The expansion will rely heavily on locally sourced raw materials such as poultry, fish and vegetables, supporting Thai suppliers. Pet food accounts for around 21% of Nestlé's group sales, and the company says the investment reflects its confidence in growth across Asia, Oceania and Africa, with Thailand a key part of Purina's global manufacturing network.
