LX Pantos completes €140m logistics centre in Poland
South Korea-based logistics provider LX Pantos has completed a 109,000m² logistics centre in Katowice, Poland, as it expands its network in Eastern Europe.
The five-building site in Upper Silesia was acquired jointly with the Korea Overseas Infrastructure & Urban Development Corporation (KIND) and the PIS No. 2 Fund in a deal valued at around €140m. With road, rail and air access on corridors linking Poland with Germany, Ukraine and wider Europe, the centre will act as LX Pantos' Eastern European hub for automotive parts, consumer goods and home appliance customers, as well as supporting Korean businesses entering the European market.
